He is depicted with hands outstreched to the sides and holding a trophy head and a club. On the left, an anthropomorphic being with wings on its back. It holds a club.

Iconographic Features:  From left to right. 1. row: unidentified impersonator, Killer Whale impersonator (?) marked by hunger, Anthropomorphic Mythical Being impersonator with arched headdress (representing Double-Headed Serpent ?) holding a knive with obsidian blade (see CL 55); 2. row: Feline Man impersonator marked by hunger and holding trophy heads, Bird impersonator with wing holding trophy head, impersonator with fox skin headdress (see CL 1) holding trophy hand with both hands while tip of extended tongue is touching the trophy head (trophy-head taster format); 3. row: Spotted Cat impersonator, unidentified impersonator marked by hunger, unidentified impersonator with wrapped snake turban holding sweet potato, staff (club?) and bag with trophy head, unidentified impersonator. Iconographic Features:  Bird Mythical Being 4 (BMB-4) depicted with feline head, wing, bird’s body with tail, human torso with legs, and human arms. Wing depicted with enclosed trophy head and snake feathers. Tail depicted with snake feathers. Bird’s body depicted with enclosed maize. Cobble of corn replaced by trophy heads. Striped tunic shows bloody border. The main figure holds a club and a trophy head.

Site:  Nasca Clados Number:  332 Culture:  Nasca Description:  effigy vessel, drawing after Anders 1984, 46. Chronological Era:  Early Intermediate Period (EIP), Nasca 5. Iconographic Features:  Feline Man characterized by a human body and the head of a feline (with mouth mask). He holds a couple of trophy heads and a club. He is grasped by a tall anthropomorphic being and appears behind its arm (with enclosed chain of serpents) illustrating sophisticated use of overlay.

Iconographic Features:  Feline Man Impersonator marked by hunger. He is depicted with hands outstreched to the sides and holding trophy heads. Arm position indicates presenting of war trophies. His skirt is decorated with sweet potato motifs.
